Well, well, well...I've learned a whole lot after this first week of school. Here are just a few things I've discovered:
--Walking from the JKB to the Maeser Building in the ten minute break between classes is....only barely possible.
--Sometimes you might get all decked out for the first home football game with colored hair spray and face paint and all the good stuff. But then there is a freak rain storm causing everything to get washed off and roll down into your eyes and mouth. But it does make for quite the adventure, and a great story to tell!
--There's just SO MUCH READING TO DO. End of story on that one.
--People are incredibly nice! Everywhere!
--You'll run into people you haven't seen in years, or maybe meet someone new that you have some crazy connection with somehow an unusually large amount of time.
--So many people are going on missions! I love it! At tunnel singing yesterday there were probably 15+ people who announced that they had gotten calls in the last week! So proud of all of these people heading out to serve the Lord for 18-24 months of their lives. What great examples I have out here!
I can promise I will still have plenty more to learn and crazy things to keep you all updated on! By the way, I miss all of you Washington folk like crazy and can't wait to see you all in December!
