Well, I've been down here in Provo for over a month now. Here's my highlights of how things have gone so far.
--Conference weekend. I absolutely LOVE conference weekend each and every time! While this time it was a little different, since I wasn't home, but the words of the leaders of our church were still the same. Rachel and I went up to her house for the weekend and spent some time with family while watching the sessions. It was wonderful! And I was much in need of doing something outside of Provo, after being here 24/7.
--Seeing old friends. I have been running into people all over the place who I haven't seen in weeks, months, and even years--it's fantastic!
--My classes. I am loving learning all of the things I am in all of my classes! I really can't pick a favorite one. While these classes are extremely time consuming....at least it's with material that interests me!
--I'm half way through mid term week for me. If I can make it through this week I'll be satisfied with life.
--It's also homecoming week! Football game on Saturday vs. Georgia Tech, so pumped!
--I finally actually know what I'm doing most of the time at work. Now, don't get me wrong, there is still PLENTY to learn. I am well aware of that! But, I am getting better and better each shift I work! :)
I hope this gives you all a small update into my life, as it gives me a small break from studying! I'm having a great time here at BYU, and become more and more grateful that I have the opportunity to be here. Every time I see a group on a campus tour it brings me back to my years before I got here. Longing to be a student at my dream school, and I'm finally here. I try to remember this when I get bogged down by all the craziness of college life. I've learned to try to take life as it comes at me, and realize that things aren't always as bad as they seem!
